Why Build a Career at Falcons
Year Round Work
Landscape season runs spring through fall, and our snow contracts carry the same crews straight through winter. If you want twelve months of work instead of a layoff in November, we can offer it.
Training and Tickets Paid
Most of our crew started with no formal landscaping background. We train on the tools, on interlock and grading, and we cover the cost of the certifications and equipment tickets you need to move up.
We Promote From Within
Every crew leader and foreman on our team started on a crew. Show up, learn the systems, and there is a clear path from labourer to lead hand to foreman running your own jobs.
Open Roles
These are the positions we hire for through the year. If none of them match exactly but you have the experience and a clean drivers abstract, send your details anyway.
Landscape Crew Member
Our entry point, and where most of our foremen started. Mowing, bed work, sod, planting and site cleanup on residential and commercial properties. No formal landscaping background needed, but you should be comfortable working outdoors in the heat and the cold. Seasonal to start, with year round work available through our snow contracts.
Hardscape Installer
Interlock driveways and patios, retaining walls, steps and walkways. You will run compactors and plate tampers, cut with a saw, and set base and pavers to grade. Previous hardscape or concrete experience is a real advantage here, and it is reflected in the rate.
Landscape Crew Leader
You run a crew of two or three through a daily route of maintenance and install work: mowing and bed care, plantings, sod, and seasonal cleanups. You set the pace, check the quality before you leave a property, and handle the homeowner or property manager when they come out to talk. You are also the one who brings a new crew member up to speed, which is how most of our leaders learned the job themselves. Requires a valid Class G licence, a clean drivers abstract, and comfort towing a trailer. We look inside first when this role opens up.
Snow Plow Operator
Winter seasonal, on call for events. Truck and plow, sidewalk machine, salting and sanding across commercial sites and condo properties. Requires a valid Class G licence and a clean drivers abstract. Many of our operators work landscape crews the rest of the year.
Crews run out of our Oakville yard and work across Mississauga, Burlington, Milton, Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
